Reach 50 Public Transit Agencies with Michigan Public Transit Association
Members include public-transit professionals from 60 of Michigan’s roughly 78 transit agencies — covering bus, train, and subway systems — along with leaders and staff from smaller rural and demand-response services. They also include executives, operations managers, and procurement/maintenance staff from related businesses such as vehicle manufacturers, parts suppliers, transit-software vendors, scheduling/dispatch firms, and other vendors serving the transit industry. The Michigan Public Transit Association (MPTA) represents more than 60 public transit agencies and related service providers across Michigan, including urban, rural, and specialized transportation systems. Founded in 1974, the MPTA leads statewide advocacy, training, and policy initiatives that strengthen Michigan’s transit infrastructure. With its highly targeted network of transit professionals and agency leaders, MPTA offers advertisers and sponsors direct access to a specialized audience with strong influence over transportation planning and procurement decisions.
